Cherry Creek coach Ethan Dusto recaps the Bruins winning their first 5A girls team title since 2006 with a 42-82 victory over Arapahoe, in addition to senior Parker Wolfe setting the all-time 5-kilometer record at Norris Penrose Events Center by clocking 15:10.31 at the Colorado High School Activities Association state championship meet in Colorado Springs. Cherry Creek had placed second the past two seasons in the girls 5A final, before securing the fourth team championship in program history. Wolfe, a North Carolina commit, eclipsed the mark of 15:12.7 produced by Valor Christian standout Cole Sprout at last year's 5A final, leading Cherry Creek to a 10th-place finish with 221 points.

Parker Wolfe is so FAST! Too bad national level competitions are cancelled this year.
